A shared clarification system reduced chase-driven communication and helped Buick and GMC launch on schedule.

Context + constraint

During a broader GM brand-platform initiative, Buick and GMC were being built in parallel while more than 700 UAT findings across the programme needed resolution, validation, or clarification. Many findings depended on newly introduced brand requirements. Engineers were trying to fix issues while repeatedly seeking answers from Design, Product, and QA, making communication itself a delivery constraint.

Decision + action

Gaurav introduced an asynchronous clarification queue, shared dashboards, explicit ownership, and response SLAs. Live triage remained available for true blockers instead of becoming the default path for every question.

Collaboration

Engineering could park items that needed more understanding and continue with actionable work. Design, Product, and QA could answer the questions routed to them from one shared view.

Impact + principle

A shared clarification system reduced chase-driven communication and helped Buick and GMC launch on schedule. Coordination is part of the delivery system. When the route to a decision is visible, specialists can contribute without every dependency becoming a meeting.

Coordination gap

UAT feedback had two lives: a stakeholder review record and an internal Jira ticket. Creating, updating, closing, and communicating across both systems repeated the same product-delivery coordination.

System introduced

Gaurav defined the workflow and built an AI-assisted tool that maps the records, keeps activity synchronized, and updates the teams involved. It is now used for monthly releases.

For a representative batch of 50 issues, the core workflow estimate falls from about 450 minutes to 50 minutes—roughly 6 hours 40 minutes returned to the team. This excludes additional time previously spent on repeated manual synchronization.

Leadership work creates a constant stream of links from meetings, messages, tickets, research, and competing projects. I built Smart Tab Organizer to create structure without adding more administrative work.

What it changes

The local-first Chrome extension groups and searches tabs, removes duplicates, saves sessions, restores workspaces, and offers optional user-connected AI suggestions.

I designed and developed an internal tool supporting Answer Engine Optimization and Generative Engine Optimization. It identifies opportunities to make website content easier for AI systems to understand, retrieve, and surface.

What it changes

After its introduction, the website experienced improved visibility and increased traffic. Organisational information, implementation details, and performance figures remain confidential.

Why it exists

AirScribe is a Chrome extension for people who need to explain ideas visually without interrupting the conversation to find and configure another tool.

What it changes

It combines an instant browser whiteboard with webpage annotation, editable shapes, private presenter controls, PNG export, and an experimental locally processed gesture-drawing mode.

Why it exists

Career Explorers is an illustrated offline book series for children aged five to eight. Stories and activities make unfamiliar career paths tangible without telling children what they should become.

What it changes

The idea grew from raising three children and looking for meaningful ways to support curiosity, practical learning, and imagination while reducing dependence on screens.
